What did you do this past week?

Last week, I worked on finalizing the models and APIs for the semester project for CS 373. My team and I have worked quite efficiently to get that done, and I am really content from our performance so far! Outside of CS 373, I have been working on the design document for my iOS programming course and studying for my upcoming exam for my British Literature course.

What’s in your way?

As of now, I would say that nothing is in my way. I do have a lot of assignments and tasks on my plate; however, I don’t have any significant blockers that are preventing me from doing well. Hopefully, it stays that way!

What will you do next week?

Next week, I will complete phase 1 of the semester assignment for CS 373. Additionally, I will work on my other assignments for my other courses as well. Lastly, I intend to make time and work with the TX Convergent team I was paired with to tackle various design issues in the carpooling application that I am currently developing.

What was your experience of types, object models, and iterators?

I have had experiences with all the above. I learned about types and iterators in an introductory Python course I took last year, and I learned about object models through my personal side projects that required me to create APIs.

What made you happy this week?

Honestly, spending time with my family made me really happy this week. Also, I spoke to several friends over the weekend, so it was nice to catch up with them.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

Docker Desktop has an amazing user-interface to work with Docker containers. There’s no need to use the command line!
